You guys rock!

Hi Friends!

I want to thank you all for making this year's event an awesome one. This is our second year, and we grew by about 12 runners this year at 62 total; next year we'd love to sell out (our permit is capped at 75) so put us on your UltraSignup watch list :)

We raised $3860 - ALL of this money will be used to help local foster children so thank you times infinity! We could not help these children without having events like this, so hopefully you all feel good not only about your athletic achievement but also for helping such an underserved population in the process.

All I ask is that you keep in mind we take being a Nonprofit very seriously i.e. EVERY penny we spend on this event has to be thoughtfully spent. Hopefully this means our race has a local, grass roots vibe lol? That's why we make our own awards and keep the "frills" at a minimum.
